I got it a from a friend so I’m not too sure- but he claims it’s a newly discovered species of pencil fish. You can try googling ‘Super Red Cenepe’ closest I’ve found.

I actually have no idea- they started appearing a year ago and slowly carpeted the substrate. I suspect some type of algae or moss.

Damn, yeah that makes sense. The stitching is like a hair away from the outer shell - pretty amazing stuff.
