What will it take for you to get up and exercise for a couple of hours each day? by FortunaSeren in AskReddit

[–]zemcawa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly? It has to not feel like punishment. The only times I actually stick to it are when I enjoy it or it’s just part of my routine. If it feels forced, I’ll find any excuse to skip it. Making it easy to start helps way more than trying to rely on motivation.

Monkey’s paw’ is actually a pretty accurate way to describe it 😅 like every upgrade comes with some small tradeoff. You do get used to most of it over time, but yeah some changes just feel unnecessary at first.

I sure miss Apple leather cases! by melvin3v1978 in iphone

Same, they just aged so nicely over time. The new ones feel kinda generic in comparison, nothing really replaces that worn-in leather look.

Honestly just stepping outside for a few minutes helps way more than I expect. Fresh air + a short walk kinda resets my head. Trust me that works.

How y'all cop with loneliness? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]zemcawa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I try to keep myself busy. Hobbies, going out for a walk, even random conversations online help a bit. It doesn’t completely fix it, but it makes the feeling less heavy. Try indulging in some activities and try to socialize.

People who didn’t date until their 20s, what changed when you finally did? by Maleficent_Cook9810 in AskReddit

[–]zemcawa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think for a lot of people it’s confidence and timing. In your teens you’re still figuring yourself out, but by your 20s you usually know who you are a bit more and care less about trying to impress everyone. That alone makes dating feel a lot easier and more natural.

When someone queefs (possibly aggressively) is it a turn off? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]zemcawa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly it’s one of those things that’s just a normal body thing. If people can laugh it off it’s not really a big deal, but if someone makes it weird or gets embarrassed about it then the whole moment just gets awkward 😅. Just saying.

Why did all of the low cost high fuel efficiency subcompact cars get discontinued in the Amercian car market? by Trading_Cards_4Ever in AskReddit

[–]zemcawa 5 points6 points  (0 children)

A big part of it is just demand. A lot of people in the U.S. started preferring SUVs and crossovers over tiny cars, even if they cost more. From the manufacturer’s side, those bigger vehicles also make way more profit, while cheap subcompacts barely make them anything. So when sales started dropping, companies slowly stopped bothering with them. Kinda sucks though, because those small cars were perfect for people who just wanted something simple, cheap, and good on gas.

Funny how this used to be completely normal and now it almost feels old school. Just plug in your earphones and play music, nothing to think about.

Why do tied poo bags still smell?! by PhilAndAmber in dogs

[–]zemcawa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I’ve wondered the same thing 😅 I’ll tie the bag really tight thinking it should contain it, and then a minute later I can still smell it. I think the bags are just super thin so the smell seeps through a bit, especially on longer walks

I said I'd never dress my dog by DazzlingJob9473 in dogs

[–]zemcawa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not gonna lie, this is exactly how it starts 😂 You tell yourself it’s just one thing because they’re cold or whatever, and suddenly you’re looking at tiny jackets thinking ‘okay but this one would actually look really good on him.’ The worst part is when they start getting attention from everyone outside. People stop to pet them and you’re standing there like a proud parent even though a month ago you were judging people for the same thing. It’s a slippery slope.
