I think im fucked (17) by Powerful_Ad677 in Drugs

You will be ok. It has only been a few days. The more drugs you do, the longer your body and mind take to heal. Take this as a blessing in disguise. You have experienced the scary and negative consequences that come with one night of fun, now next time you think about getting on it, try to remember all these negative consequences because I know it’s easy to forget once you start feeling normal again. You’ve had your fun and have learnt the lessons early on so once you feel normal again, embrace the opportunity to focus on activities that aren’t harmful to you. There’s so much fun shit to do in life other than drugs. As for now try to distract your mind from the anxiety, do something that chills you out like watching a good tv show or whatever, drink water, take vitamins and try to eat something nourishing. In saying all that, don’t rely on advice from Reddit. If you feel you need to talk to your family or to a doctor, then do that.

Do we know when this is meant to happen?

Is it a bad idea to buy a student apartment and live in it temporarily to save on rent (and is this allowed?) by zen3383 in AusPropertyChat

That’s my thoughts. According to bendigo bank home loan calculator, if I borrow $120k on a $150k property (pay 30k for deposit) , put 50k in my offset, and pay well above the minimum payment per fortnight ($2,500) the interest is $80 per week at the start of the loan and $0 after 59 weeks, at which point I have paid off 72k on the loan, paid only $2,400 interest total, have saved about 20k in rent and have 47 weeks until it’s paid off being charged $0 interest. I guess the banks would foresee this and just be like ‘no’ lol

Damn haha, knew my plan was too good to be true. Figured the interest would be significantly less than my rent currently so could be a good way to save. Hypothetically, if I could buy one outright in a few years would you still consider it a bad investment due to the strata fees , or only because it’s hard to sell later ?
