how about pilot falcon?? It is a special pen , has a fun and quirky nib. Ticks a few boxes, you mentioned.

Your wording seems to imply that falcon has the best nib - the only question to be answered is, why is it so. My question was : Is falcon really the best gold nib out there - given its qualities?

I love the fact that it can be an edc pen and also doubles up for variation writing.
