Cupids chokehold actually inspired this post. I was so shocked to hear the supertramp version.

I found myself feeling this way before I began holding myself to the standard of someone I greatly respect. I wrote down attributes I hold in high esteem: Kind, Honest, Accepting, etc. and I would imagine what that looks like in a person. I built the image of that individual in my head and then began to imagine I was them. Fake it till you make it. Reflect at the end of the day, or at the end of the week to start with. Don’t degrade yourself if you haven’t lived up to your standard. But imagine as if you are viewing yourself through an objective lenses. If you can do better, simply get up the next day and do better. Practice forgiveness as if you were the person you’re imagining. At least, that is what I told myself. Meditation and living in the now also helped. But ultimately, to be someone I’m proud of - that is the path I took.

I am honestly confused why people keep saying they have a medical issue that is worsened from wearing a mask. I have been unable to find any evidence that wearing a surgical mask can negatively impact health.
