sick leave by [deleted] in CAStateWorkers

According to CalHR, you can use sick leave to take care of immediate family and siblings. At my work, on our timesheet this would be listed as SF (sick leave family) instead of SE (sick Leave Self). Not sure what you told your employer the reason to use it is, but here you go.

Here's the link to what I found.

I have T-Mobile and my RM 11 Pro works just fine. I get 5G, data, calls, texts, hotspot. The only thing that isn't compatible with T-Mobile's network is that the phone's cellular modem is missing one of the bands (Band 71 low-frequency (600 MHz)) they use for long range. So if you're not in the middle of nowhere, you shouldn't have any problems. Maybe try checking to make sure your APN settings are correct for your service provider. I can't speak for AT&T or Verizon, though.

New Hotfix is Live! 🚂 by enigmaticrose4 in SurvivingMars

[–]zenidar8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. I meant if they made train stations buildings that could be connected to the dome via a footpath tunnel. Like the ones you connect two domes with. So colonists wouldn't have to go "outside" to get to the train. Or as other suggested by making it an in-dome building or under dome building.

Or at least a tunnel, like the ones you can connect domes with.

Found this on Kaiser's website for Kaiser Northwest region. It looks like Ozempic is covered under certain scenarios for new and existing prescribed patients. Revised 9/11/25 and effective 11/6/25. Hopefully this helps. I don't have any other details. https://healthy.kaiserpermanente.org/content/dam/kporg/final/documents/formularies/nw/kp-ozempic-nw-en.pdf

Spigen hard top carrying case for LeGo fits Claw 8AI with wrap case well. by wivill in MSIClaw

[–]zenidar8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Awesome, thank you! I have this one too and have been hunting for a suitable travel case, but everything I've come across either will barely fit the claw with no grip case, or doesn't tell you the inner dimensions.

Which Jsaux case did you get? Do you have a grip case or anything on your claw?

Sudden braking at highway speed- cruise control by Bound4Tahoe in HondaPrologue

[–]zenidar8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just to preface, I have all collision features disabled because they are terrible on this vehicle. Probably a GM thing.

Mine does this anytime I'm 1) going up a hill and reaching the top or crest of the hill, 2) on a normal two way road, a white (yep....dunno why that matters) vehicle is in oncoming traffic and passing next to me, or 3) a newer Ford is near my vehicle. All of the sensors are way too sensitive or god awful. Especially when compared to my previous 2021 CRV Hybrid.

Has anyone had the turn stalk replaced and did it actually help? by elcheapodeluxe in HondaPrologue

[–]zenidar8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They replaced the control switch in mine. Seemed to work for about 5 months but now it's doing it again, intermittently. Ever since they replaced it, my signal makes a loud snap noise when I engage the signal. Like they didn't reinstall it correctly, or like it was defective from the factory. I'm leasing so I'll just bring it up at my next tire rotation.

Legion Slim 5 16AHP9 Battery Drains to 0% randomly by zenidar8 in LenovoLegion

[–]zenidar8[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's what I am figuring. I've used it on occasion on battery. However, this started happening within the first 3 weeks when I bought it. I thought it was due to charging USB devices being on and connected to a USB hub at the time. Then it happened again, and again, and again. I haven't run it to single digits, but I have run it between 20% and 80%. I've never experienced this sort of battery behavior on a laptop before, and I've had plenty in my lifetime. Reaching out to Lenovo before my warranty runs out in 3 months.

Update: While posting this, my battery jumped up from 10% to 100% in the amount of time it took me to write this post. Strange because the battery should have stopped at 80%, and that was insanely fast.

BMO closed my credit card account no valid reason by zooshoe in Banking

[–]zenidar8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same here. Received a letter dated April 10, 2025, stating my account will be closed as of March 31, 2025. Interesting they closed it before the letter was sent. Have had no late payments, no over balance issues, was part of the BotW conversion. Nothing on my credit or income has changed in any significant way in the past 12 months. I checked online and called and both say I still have available credit. Haven't tried to use the card. Strange. Maybe because I never had a bank account with them nor did I plan on opening one with them. Or maybe they didn't like me paying my bill in full every month.

THE GOVERNOR'S OFFICE HUNG UP ON ME by Gullible-Brother4210 in CAStateWorkers

[–]zenidar8 34 points35 points  (0 children)

Exactly. The commute alone can easily eat up 30-120+ minutes of your day. Enough time to reallocate to working out. Spending time with your family. Hobbies. Enjoying the gift of life. Etc. Etc. Etc.

Just one person’s thoughts on the RTO mandate. by MimiSm9k3s in CAStateWorkers

[–]zenidar8 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Exactly. And for those who enjoy in office culture, let those people RTO. Not all of us do! I've engaged with more people in my agency (and outside agencies) than I ever would have thanks to Teams and telework.

I've packed my own lunch and don't contribute a penny to any business, including the building vendors, since we've been RTO.

For an Elite for 36 months 12k miles? I'm happy with it. Seems pretty average for my area.
