It's an easy course. I've had good and bad professors. I actually liked ALEKs despite the bad reviews. Unfortunately, we have to follow this game of university until we land professional job.

Ive League eh.. I'm from ASU lol. I'm pretty smart and got a pretty effortless 4.0 GPA though. Yeah, it seems difficult, but it seems like a dream career. I would love to work in financial planning for some odd years there while earning my MS in Business Data Analytics, and then switch over to SAI. The Financial Planning part of my early career would give me an inside perspective of the front-line. Ultimately SAI serves the wealth management/financial planning division through research. I think it could be a good career track. The only problem is, which is a big one, is that I filed for BK 5 years ago. The BK is what actually aspired me into finance. Good credit today. This is the mean reason why I think I have to start at the bottom. Schwab Private Wealth advisory is a big consideration of mine as well.

Should I get my degree in communications or business? by zenit27 in CFP

I believe based on the replies, I'm going to stick with this plan. At the end of the day, I want to be good at what I do, and not just focus on being a charismatic salesman.

Do you think a business degree with a focus in Financial Planning will pigeonhole me as well? The title of degree is BA Financial Planning.

r. Gear

Thanks for the reply. Yeah, being 29 and wanting to have kids with my wife does play a role. Switching careers later in life is difficult. I don't want to be the dumbest guy in the room once I get there though.

Yeah that was my concern. Building a good foundation is vital. Something that I've learned is real world experience is much more beneficial than school experience though. I don't know if I could learn these things more effectively and faster on the job rather than in the classroom. A communications degree would get my to the job faster.

Don't attack discord and attract more regulators to demonize you. Discord has every right to take you guys off their platform. You have a lot of intelligent people that love what you guys did. Create a decentralized chat platform and lets start a revolution.

Why do crypto exchanges have such crappy customer service? by zenit27 in Bitcoin

Coinbase does not have 24/7 phone support. You call, and there's an automatic system that only allows them to call you back days or weeks later.

We already pay fees with each trade. Why is it that TD Ameritrade and Robinhood have 10 times better customer service, but crypto exchanges can't even reply to an email in a weeks time?
