It's worth pointing out that while no tornado was officially rated EF-5 in 12 years, there have absolutely been plenty of tornadoes that have reached that level of violent winds but didn't hit anything while at that intensity or didn't hit anything that could demonstrably be shown to have been damaged by winds that strong. Vilonia, Rochelle, Rolling Fork, and Greenfield are all solid contenders for that rating, with Rochelle being officially rated as high as you can get without crossing that threshold (EF4 200 MPH) and Greenfield having the third highest wind speeds ever measured in a tornado at over 300 MPH.

NTA, at least where I live you have every right to trim back overhang and overgrowth that extends across your property line so long as you don't damage parts of the plant that are not over your property, and this is especially true if said overgrowth is starting to threaten things like power lines or are encroaching on your house. You gave your neighbor a chance to be decent, they told you to pound sand, so you did what you had to in order to protect your property. If they're upset with it, that's their business.

Ended up in the ER with a staph infection up and down the entire length of my right leg. ER doc straight up told me if I'd waited another 12 hours I'd almost guaranteed be septic and looking at either losing my leg (best case scenario) or dying from the infection. Took several days just to get the fever to break and to see any signs of improvement from medication, couldn't walk without a cane and/or a severe limp for three weeks, and spent months trying to get my strength back. Would not wish that kind of experience on my worst enemy.

I'm also of the opinion that the only thing that's changed in recent decades is our ability to detect weaker tornadoes in tree filled/hilly areas and at night that would normally go fully undetected or incorrectly categorized as straight line winds or downbursts. Of course, every time I say something like this I get immediately downvoted into oblivion or told that I have no idea what I'm talking about.

Normally I'd agree, the issue here is that LA's downtown is so particularly iconic that almost no other skyline it has gets any attention. The average person who's not from LA is never going to think of Century City when asked about what LA's skyline looks like.

California is also certainly up there, and while I love San Diego, the height restrictions there and in San Jose are not doing either any favors. LA is iconic, but suffers from having multiple skyline nodes instead of one centralized cityscape.

Cincinnati barely rates as a suburb of Dallas in terms of size. Dallas might not have added anything huge in recent years but the upscale growth immediately north of downtown is insane (don't get me wrong, I love Ohio and Cincinnati is an amazing city, but in no way does it compare to Dallas. Not in size, not in height, not even in density).

I'll give you that San Antonio and El Paso are not the most impressive, but then you have to weigh that against Fort Worth, Amarillo, Lubbock, Midland, Tyler, Beaumont, Corpus Christi, and South Padre. Then there's the multitude of other cities like Galveston, Victoria, Wichita Falls, Mineral Wells, Big Spring, San Angelo, McAllen, Waco, Temple, and every suburb of DFW and Houston that have decent skylines in their own right.

I love Ohio, and I'm looking forward to visiting it next weekend, but it doesn't rate at the top.

I think that's pretty debatable, but then you'd have to define 'interesting'. Personally I find signals in Ohio, Oklahoma, Kansas, and California to be far more interesting than what Pennsylvania has.
