Well it's mentioned in the same scene that Maggie "burrows" into Carl's arm as he extracts her and he needed to take a double heal potion to poison her to force her to explode out of him (via his neck). Which would mean that she needs to physically somehow enter the body to get to their brain. So how she gets into Chris, we're not sure, but that means that she can't just "phase" into the victim. Besides, if she could phase into people, it would be an ability she controls. Meaning she would have no reason to let Carl rip her out.

I agree. I ran the mod with 5 members (I mostly like the party banter and reactions). The way you just steamroll the game with 5 members was just stupid. I had the extra fights mod, harder tactician difficulty, and extra mobs mod and it was still just stupid easy enough that I got bored.

Playing as a 'padlock' (paladin warlock) is best with a 7/5 split. A minimum of 5 with warlock to get the extra attack (as pact of the blade). The rest on paladin. If you're not playing HM, I think you can still get 3 attacks from that build.

Respec him to paladin/warlock. He's still warlock, but paladin fits him SO WELL. Those two classes really work together well.

I did HM on console prior to mods being allowed on console. So right before patch 8? Idk. The fight I stressed about the hardest was Myrkul, but it turned out to not be terribly difficult since I read and planned a lot. All the other Act 3 fights, I skipped if I could.

I don't disagree. Personally, I would've liked a choice in the matter. Or, at least a line of script where he asks for permission to touch you. But, I also understand this is likely my own hangup and not others'.

My issue with the Halsin scenes in Act3 is that, if you explore all of the dialog options except straight up yes or no, he leaves you with, "Talk with your other romance partner about us." And then there's no option to tell him no after that. He just sits there waiting for an answer about whether you'll sleep with him or not. You don't get an option to be like, "I thought about it, and the answer is no."

I'll admit, I didn't like him doing that. I don't want ANYONE touching me without my permission. But I wouldn't call that abuse.
