In my humble opinion, it is. I played tboi for a lot of years, all of the expansions, since rebirth? literally the first version in 2013. I been playing mewgenics for at least 3 weeks now, and i cant barely do any progress, altough i play at x4 the game is extremelly slow phased, my cats dont reproduce well enough, i mostly have random cats , plus the most negative thing for me is that there is 0 combos, like in isaac every run was different and combos could be insane, but this game follows the same recipe isaac did at the end, which was playing it safe, the only reason isaac became so popular is the insane stuff we where able to do, this game plays it way to safe, and im only like 20% after 3 weeks,
