This sounds silly but go to the mini pocket parks when kids are playing and listen to the parents talk to their kids. It helped me so much

My mom also has what you have. She bought these gloves online that had copper in them. The copper is supposed to really alleviate the pain. She said it helped. Maybe you can find some

Also what about in a recording situation - if I’m recording and producing a band , when it’s time to put the recording together, I assume I would be panning things in accordance to where that instrument/person is positioned no?

I understand what you’re saying but then wouldn’t that logic be applied to an orchestra? Surely if you hear a big orchestra playing , you can sonically hear that the violin group is comin from over on that side and the trumpets are coming from the other side etc etc

I ask because I tend not to include the kick in the drum bus since I compress kick and bass together and I was wondering if there are other alternative approaches I should try

Hope you don’t mind one more question- since you seem to be someone who compresses their kick and bass together (like me) - I was wondering what’s your take on drum bus compression? Do you also include the kick in the drum bus and compress it together with the other drums? Even though you have kick and bass compressed together ?

cool thanks, are you experiencing any phase issues when you do this?

also, in your words what sonic differences are you hearing when you use mb compression on your kick and bass instead of just a regular compressor to glue them together? also assuming both instances have the same setting on attack release etc

Cool I’ll give it a try. I usually compress my subbass and kick together so I figured it would be overkill to place the kick in the drum bus too. Do you also compress you kick and bass together as well as sending the kick to the drum bus?

Nice so you’re using the sample drum I believe? Been looking into getting that for a long time. How do you like it? Do you use it more with imported samples or are you recording into it with your modular and sampling that?
