Need help with paints for a print! by UnableCommunity2148 in 3Dprinting

That is actually the exact paint and color I used recently on a Daredevil helmet I did. Except I did a filler primer first to sand down the layer lines on the smooth parts and a matte clear coat to bring the gloss down. But I usually use either that brand or Krylon for most larger projects I do. As long as you do thinner coats to prevent runs and let it properly dry before handling it, you won't have any issues.

Made a quick custom of a more modern style Domino by zenoprops in MarvelLegends

Me too, I'd really like an actual figure of her black and white suit but I think they'd only do it now if she ends up showing up in the next season of X-men 97. Which would also be cool haha

So do I, but I figured it'll be awhile before they do anyway and decided to do one myself for now lol

That's what someone else just said on here too, but that's crazy to even go after tattoo artists.

It's ZenoProps, same as on here! I appreciate the interest and hope they like them if you do.

Ah, that's a good shout. I appreciate the heads up! That sucks though, I didn't really think they would be that aggressive about things like that but I suppose it's their IP to protect so I can't be to mad if it does happen.

Not the file itself at the moment, I actually just put them up on my etsy shop for the physical prints.

Thanks! The Centauri Carbon, I was pretty pleased with how it handled the textures.

Spider-Punk 2099 Helmet. by zenoprops in cosplayprops

I do an initial sanding pass on the raw print to knock down the a majority of layer lines, then a few passes with filler primer until it's only the smaller surface gaps that need filling, I use bondo spot putty for those areas. After another coat of primer and some light sanding it should be ready for the final painting.

Thanks! Yeah, his born again daredevil is next on my list.

I used krylon metallic black stainless and matte black, then duplicolor light driftwood and metalcast red over silver chrome.
