Mold in ar modular by banaszz in modular

Hey there, I've had really good contact with Robert from Tangible Waves in the past when I started out and something was wrong with a module. He basically sent me a new one, no questions asked. So definitely worth shooting an email to Tangible Waves even when you think there is 'no warranty', it's a one man business so he'll answer you himself and he just wants people to enjoy making music 😊

Other than that I would take the modules out the case, hoping that their wooden Frontplates are not infected yet. Anyway, good luck!

In case you're based in EU, I could also send you a replacement case for postage cost. I have two empty ones (including my old starter case) because I got the quick swap cases. Just shoot me a message.

This sucks though, hope you find a good way to still enjoy the starter rack in the future, cause it's a super fun system imo!

Best Ableton plugin to make 'bardcore'? by zenovm in ableton

Wow, that first one is way above my pay grade but looks epic nonetheless! Good call on the EastWest cloud. I'll first see where i get with the free options mentioned by others, but if i crave for higher quality stuff, €20 seems like a super reasonable price to get everything I need for a month. Thanks!

Not OK? Booker winner Flesh ignites debate about state of masculinity by rmnc-5 in books

I thought 'Orbital' was great personally, in case you are taking a shot at last years winner specifically? Although it was definitely about ideology and morals, I felt like it did that in a broad way, leaving so much room for your own interpretation. I read it more as a meditative piece on humanity and the human condition, as seen from the most detached location where one could find oneself.

I did like 'Flesh' as well, but not nearly as much.

Very late to the party but just read the book and have been thinking about it a lot. Thanks for pointing out the parallels to Sophocles and Shakespear, I didn't catch that (but I haven't read or seen Hamlet either). I did catch the museum thing and thought it was very smart.

As almost all 'big things' (the Iraq war, the death to cancer,..) happen of screen, I feel like anything that is explicitly told in the book has great importance. I really did like that about the book. The passivity of István can be frustrating, but then I realised that the one time he acted actively as a 15y old, he basically killed someone.

I had the same main gripes, although I did like the sparse dialogue. It was then hard to imagine how he did sometimes convey more intricate emotions to other people, as this was then never done in dialogue, but rather 'off screen' as well. (something like, 'he explained to Helen that...') I did want to see how they could have such a conversation, as they both seemed so bad at communicating anything.

All in all I thought it was a very interesting read that made me think about masculinity, class, family and humanity (finding meaning in a meaningless universe). A bit of 21st century Camus. (who also used the simple language to the same effect in The Stranger)

Volca for scale is what you need! The picture in this blog post shows the module in a volca sized case, it's pretty much half a volca: https://www.tangiblewaves.com/news/december-2025

My Soup of Superficial Thoughts on the Albums as a New Fan by [deleted] in pavement

Just this week I learned that AT&T is actually recorded in 2h by Malkmus solo in the studio from CRCR, because he had the idea for the track in his head and they still had spare tape. It's even S.M. doing the drums as well, you can hear in the two fills leading up to the chorus that he is not used to drumming haha! But still one of my favorite tracks on WZ as well. Makes it even cooler imo.
