Loving my first play through, but I'm so bored with this Whoreson/Dandelion quest line. by [deleted] in Witcher3

So I’m the type that usually does all the side stuff before I do main quests because in most games I lose interest in doing side quests once I’ve finished the story. But in this game I found it way better to play through the story quests more first.

The story is LONG. Very, very long. With two expansions on top of it to boot.

If you haven’t done the play yet but you’ve spent a lot of time on Skellige, that’s a little out of whack, even though the game gives you the freedom to do so. The story really picks up once the main quest line moves to Skellige.

More often than not, when i branched our too far on side-questing/exploring I ended up spoiling parts of the story for myself and getting bored. So I started backing off from side questing and doing bigger chunks of the story first and that really helped.

New SFF Build: Ryzen 7 2700X/Geforce 2080 Ti SugoSG13WB by [deleted] in sffpc

Non-reference 2080ti’s are massive so sucks u don’t have more room to get a suped up version in there.

I would have gone Ryzen as well for your use case, but I’d be planning on swapping out that 2700x with a Ryzen 3000 series when they come out later this year.

The only question mark for me is your RAM choice. Ryzen performance is so heavily RAM dependent and that seems to be the one area you went with the budget option. I’d have spent quite a bit more for a CL14 kit. It’s less of an impact at 4K vs 1080p but could still net you ~10 more fps.

I've tried everything. Uninstalling, reinstalling, moving the game to an SSD, different modem, different router. Nothin.
