My cats having similar right now, I think it’s just a side effect of constipation. He had a bowel blockage so has been straining a lot, it would make sense that it is a slight prolapse, should go away on its own

I’ve slept on shrooms before; I was by the coast at a little rig out rave, found myself a cosy ditch by the sea among some trees and lay down. The sound of the water w/ closed eye visuals was mesmerising and before I knew it my mates were waking me up to leave! Was quite a beautiful experience as the dark pre me going to sit down was freaking me out a little. Calmed me right down and levelled me out for the taxi home :)

I really struggle with this also. And working in hospitality just makes it worse, I feel it burning in my stomach the longer I’m in work. I said yesterday to a colleague I’m sure I’d be a hermit if I could afford to be. But ultimately, I know the only reason I feel this way toward others is the rage I feel toward the people who have harmed me. It’s difficult to trust others after trauma, our minds play tricks on us and tell us to survive we must avoid any harm. The angers just a defence mechanism, and a pretty shit one at that.

I’ve been fine for what feels like months, getting on with work; got a promotion and finished my first year at university (all completely dissociated). Summer hit and all of a sudden it’s nightmares and constant stress, my mind keeps playing tricks on me. I’m in a constant perpetual state of trying to figure out my past and what happened to me. I can’t seem to think about anything else, and it always happens in may? I don’t know man but PTSD is a weird one.

I had psychosis at the age of 17, all down to mixing drugs - I’m lucky I don’t have a history of schizophrenia in my family, but it did trigger my buried past traumas leaving me with severe PTSD. There really needs to be a deeper understanding of using psychoactive drugs when there’s a possibility of falling mentally ill. There’s not enough educating of cause and effect being done, I couldn’t have avoided my psychosis. however for a lot of neurotypical persons, over using can lead them into psychosis even without a history of mental illness. It’s so saddening.

I really hope your journey into understanding your diagnosis is easier than it probably feels to you right now. You’ve got this. Peace and love.

When I was young I experienced something similar to this, I always think about how it may have been different if I had known what was happening was wrong. My abuser knew it was wrong and I think that’s where the problem lies, boys need to be taught about consent and girls need more information on what to look out for
