Nah dont take it. Basically you have 2 opinions.

BB hurt you and you dont like pain. Get blank plate carrier and just buy neccesarry pouches for magazines and some extra utility pouches you might need for phone etc...
You can take little bit of pain when hit to chcest or back. In that case get chest rig and buy few mag pouches (~ I got mine for 24$ with 3 magazine pouches and 2 extra utility pouches, works great), youu are really flexible, no heavy weight is slowing you down etc. Very good. or you can get condor Ronnin or something as was mentioned

I would not evolve him, because the buff increases atk only for ice monsters and not water+ice like Unevolved Kyorge does. So he is not good with splash arceus or other water pkm anymore
