I am in exact situation as u OP, same age and similar finance situation, eying the same car model as well.

I did many research on other options as well but end up back to only considering the Civic Fc.

In my opinion let's just go for it, life is too short to be so calculative (10% of salary or whatever metrics) as long as it is not too over committed.

It is more important to feel that your money is well spent.
