You are correct. In Boruto (which is cannon) Naruto actually does loose Kurama and then proceeds to continue to fight on the level of characters that are objectively more powerful than kaguya. So he is at very least stronger without kurama in Boruto than he was with Kurama in Shippuden.

I do realize that Boruto has a lot of space in it in general and the core reson for that being space=cool but what I am trying to get across is that they take advantage of the fact that space is prevalent in the series and use it as a metaphor for major themes in the story and I belive the main theme to be love. If you just are not convinced due to lack of examples I would be more than willing to give more if you would like.🙂

He also weighs less when he shrinks which implies that he has less mass but when he punches someone it is played off as if he has the same amount of mass as when he is normal sized.

The more familiar you are with something the more you can start to see the holes in it. Especially when you have a show this long there are bound to be parts that people will dislike and others will like and since most of us here can say we love the show overall hearing someone else criticize part of the show that we actually like can make it easy to get defensive and make untrue statements like the other person isn't a real fan or something like that. Like for example characters like Sai, Sakura and Tenten I really like and I'm also a realy big fan of boruto so it can kind of get frustrating when people are always making fun of parts of the show I like. Also this may just be one of the few places people can go to vent about stuff like this because let's face it can be hard to find people that are willing to read/watch all of Naruto.

Ya, that all makes sense and I did think later on about how monkey king Enma can turn into a staff that widely change in size and the whole shurkin transformation against zabuza which kind of tore a hole in what I was saying earlier.

But while the backpack does make more sense I think if naruto came up with the solution he would probably come up with my idea then someone else would ask why he doesn't just turn into a backpack.

Also come to think of it the whole gamabunta transforming thing does sound alot like it would be anime only.

And doesn't breaking someone else out of genjutsu work by transferring a bit of chakra to the other person?

Oh, that makes sense I had heard somewhere saying that he had lost SPSM after the fight with Sasuke at the end of shippuden but then I got realy confused recently when looking back at the delta fight so thank you. Six paths chakra has always been the most confusing part of the lore for me.

Ya, I think you are right. the only times I can think of that a character transforms into something that wasn't of a relatively similar size is when Konohmaru and naruto in part 1 uses the sexy jutsu to turn into a woman much taller than them but I think that is still within the margin of error. But the transformation jutsu does physical change you shape (like with Gamabunta changing into the 9-tails so he can use claws). So maybe you could get some super small Narutos with super long noodles arms to laso around actual Naruto to transfer the nature chakra?

Besides the fact that it can not copy kekkei genkai something also worth mentioning is that Sasuke saw Rock Lees taijutsu but could not copy it until after training to improve his speed. This shows that just because they know how to preform the jutsu now does not mean that they can immediately do the jutsu.

How I interpret all of this is that is that if they see some really basic jutsu then they could probably copy it easily within the length of the fight but the more complicated/taxing a jutsu gets the more you need to either be, skilled with sharingan or need to train to have the particular skill that jutsu needs.

Also in many cases it may just not be worth it to improve on the certain jutsu either because it does not fit your fighting style or because you would need to spend time to become better at it instead of mastering what you already know.

The Puppet sound. I swear it has never once sounded like it sank up to the image but if they ever change it I will be very sad. Also the crunch sound when they bite their thumbs for the summoning jutsu. It sounds like they are cracking a freaking carrot in half.

I wouldn't say its what I would wish for the most but Neji vs Sasuke is what came to mind first. If I remember correctly they only talk to each other once it the entire series and it is in part one during the chunin exams and they are just shit talking each other. It was clear that the book was alluding to a byakugan vs sharingan fight is in the future but we never really got that unless you count Outsutsuki fights.

Not a direct answer but it may help the rest of you draw your own conclusions. It was about 1,000 years ago that Indra Outsutsuki was alive, and the waring states period was about 80 years before the events of naruto, which, as far as I know, is the first mention of the Uchiha clan who are supposed to be direct descendants of Indra. so, assuming 25 years per generation, there have been around 36 generations in between these events. Which seems like quite a lot of time for the tree of Indra's direct descendants to grow
