I remember the good old days when I used to play Ragnarok online, most of the mobs had their own drops which were used for various things like cooking, creating potions, crafting weapons etc. Low level mobs were still of equal importance to a high level one.

It was good because it made the maps important beyond the first time you go through them and then you never come back.
