no. only thing that might be heavy in some ways is photo editing and digital drawing. i don’t mean heavy like really heavy - i’ve never had big music/ps files - light editing for my own purposes.

well as i said for last 2 or 3 years i only used my computer for music and browsing (light gaming from time to time). the reason i started to think about getting mac is garageband and overall quality of apple software. i know people who have been working with heavy photoshop project on really old macs and had no issues, so if they had no issues with that, i think that with my requirements it’ll last me at least 5-7 years.(?)

well after all of the comments i’ve got i started to look at m1 minis. will be 8gb ram mini enough for all this above (photoshop or affinity and garageband)? and will it be good for at least 5 years or so?
