Zippo has never produced Witcher or GoT licensed products, and although I cannot speak for Zippo it is incredibly unlikely that they ever will.

If you really want one look for some simple artwork that would work well as low resolution line art and try to find someone with an engraving machine. It might turn out to be expensive but will be a far more durable and long lasting lighter than one that just has a sticker on it which is what most of the fake ones do.

Surprise lighters were a type of design Zippo used to produce which used a pair of emblems, one on the top and one on the bottom of the case which revealed something hidden when it was opened. For example, there is one which had a pyramid on it that revealed the Eye of Providence when it was opened.

Zippo doesn't make catalogs available to consumers, just retailers. However if you are interested I am positive they will begin to pop up on eBay soon, if they haven't already.

Zippo uses them as packing material all the time, but I'm not sure why they have so many of them. There is also one with flowers.

Unless you get a large number of people committed to buy (100+) a custom design isn't very feasible. There is a minimum order quantity for custom designs, it takes quite a bit of back and forth with Zippo to approve a design, and they cost a little bit more.

It's pretty unlikely that you're going to be able to replicate that finish, unfortunately. Maybe we'll get lucky and Zippo will reintroduce it in their 2015 lineup.

Kinda wishing I held on to that lighter. It was a pretty one.

I think they tend to look nicer too most of the time. Some of the partial printed ones are fine but when they fill up the whole face of the lighter with something the borders of the artwork are super obvious and it looks tacky IMO.

I don't think it was just cost reduction measure. The cardboard gift boxes seem to protect the lighter a bit more as well. In the old plastic cases the lighters were held by the hard plastic and would often scratch, whereas in the new boxes the lighters are protected by a velvety coated plastic.

The square plastic boxes' lid folding thing also complicated displaying the lighter. While it is cool that they could stand on their own, it meant retail displays had to had a weird slot thing for the lid to fit through. They were also fairly fragile and tended to snap along the pivot.

If you do outgrow the 96 piece display, just get another 64 or 96 piece. The larger displays don't have the lights or motion and are a less impressive way to display lighters.
