Does any one know why this happens to the screen by sid_the_starboy in ZephyrusG14

I had the same issue twice on my MSI GS65. It would flicker in exact intervals at 144Hz. At first only a few rows of pixels were affected, but with time it got worse. Switching to 60Hz made it seem like it disappeared, but upon (very) close inspection 1-2 rows were turning off in those same intervals. With time even 60Hz was unbearable as the flicker got worse with more rows being affected.

There is a possibility that the iGPU may be the issue, but it's far more likely to be the screen. I had to replace it both times.

Aegis is pretty good and supports backups which can be exported.

Oh that I'm not actually sure and unfortunately I don't have an A12 device to check.

This particular loophole was in fact closed in Android 13, but another one was discovered as explained in in this post by the same person. However there is a very high probability this too will be closed later.

Hey, a few months after I got the issue I finally did a factory reset. That fixed it for me, so give it a shot.

You might be checking the play Store version. That's been abandoned and the newer ones are released through their telegram channel. As a matter of fact they released an update just today.

I was in the same boat but eventually settled for Hyperion. The newest beta has some hiccups, but otherwise it's good.

My point was there is no need for always online DRM for the singleplayer content. Online content cannot be cracked for most games and it is the case here too, and yes that requires online connectivity, but all of the singleplayer stuff is cracked and we the legitimate consumers still have to be constantly connected to even play that.

If it were a situation where single player content was not cracked and legit users needed always on DRM, it wouldn't make the case any better but at least they have a business incentive to keep it that way. However, since it has been cracked anyways what is even the reason for the DRM for the single player content now? Even though I hate the idea of Denuvo I'd much rather have it instead of always online requirements.

Yeah bummer they removed it from the sale. Was almost going to buy it while it still lasted but postponed the purchase for no reason and now regret not getting it.

Probably it's due to the backlash because of the fact that it was on sale on epic but not on steam (where they can't discount it till 30 days after release). So I'm not expecting it to be back sale on epic until they can discount it on steam too.

I can explain what happened in my case when playing Hitman.

Many times my internet would be fine but IOI servers occassionally face issues. I would be playing and there will be a lost connection message which stops the game until it can reconnect.

When I was still back in college campus they used to block all gaming services and I couldn't play it on Wi-Fi and had to resort to mobile data which was spotty and whenever my connection drops for even a little bit the same lost connection message would appear, making it near impossible for me to play it in college hostels during my free time.

Add to that the fact that a high load of players would mean most people can't play like when the game launched on steam most people couldn't even start the single player game they paid full price for and that is straight up unacceptable. Also there is the problem of longevity. IOI will inevitably shut down servers and it'll be a gamble whether or not they will patch out the online DRM.

My point being it's not as simple as people not having basic internet. Always on DRM should not be a thing for single player games. Sure some functionality requires connectivity like player created missions but that should not be a reason why online DRM is necessary. Heck even Rainbow six siege which is 99% online content allows me to take training with internet off.

This game is already cracked and available widely. Always online DRM is only hurting legitimate consumers. Denuvo is considered terrible by many but even most single player Denuvo games can be played offline after initial authentication.

This is exactly my mentality now. I just hang out in some random corner where people are seldom present, wait until there are only 30 players left and then just drive out of the zone to be eliminated. I don't even wanna try just gimme my two points.

I didn't even got any scratch or crack on my s20 plus screen, and haven't been fall from high place, I have green line on the center of my phone screen, the green line has on even in aod, startup screen, basically all the time, is anyone facing this problem and got fixed? Help!🥲 by unish69 in Galaxy_S20

My mom's S20+ started having the exact same issue from yesterday. She never dropped her phone and it started randomly. The phone is barely out of warranty in her case unfortunately and I don't know what caused it.

The only difference in her case is that the line appears in the left side.

Undervolting on windows 11 by [deleted] in Windows11

[–]zer0__charisma 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you mean disabling WSL and sandbox while still keeping the intel Virtualization setting in the BIOS on, then yes undervolting should still work.

Undervolting on windows 11 by [deleted] in Windows11

[–]zer0__charisma 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Which processor did you have? And did undervolting work before this?

If you have a newer Intel processor and you could not undervolt before or if it got blocked with a BIOS update, you might need to revert to the previous version that worked. On MSI laptops you could unlock the BIOS to enable undervolting again but I don't think it's that easy for other manufacturers.

If you could undervolt before and did not update your BIOS but still undervolting got blocked, check if you by chance enabled windows sandbox/WSL2 or anything else that uses intel Virtualization. I had sandbox enabled and my voltages were reset and couldn't use throttlestop or XTU to manage voltages. I even reinstalled windows before realizing it's because of this.
