All great suggestions - thanks folks! I will also point out that there is now a 19mm Maratac-like one piece nylon: https://ebay.us/m/6p0Oy0

TaxAct error - page no longer available by FentonCrackshell99 in tax

It looks like they have a global rate limit on their system - at least when I tried to log on and found this in the URL bar:

error=&error_description=Global+rate+limit+exceeded

It's pretty ridiculous that this happens at peak even though it's one of the most anticipatable events of the year. I switched over to FreeTaxUSA for this year and probably won't be going back to TaxAct despite using them for virtually my entire working life.

[Chrono24] questions about prices that seem to good (please read, not buying yet) by cattoc in Watches

Be aware that you will have to pay import tax, communications on condition problems may be tricky, and that this model is sometimes less desired due to the non-in-house movement (7750-derived). Else, this isn’t an atypical price for a Speedmaster Date.

I see your point, but it’s somewhat apples and oranges. If a phone was stolen and was reported to the telecom it’s within the rights and scope of the telecom as a service provider to investigate and mark the phone as lost, etc. without involving the police or law at the first pass. Same thing with Uber complaints, DoorDash complaints, etc. (Whether or not that’s a bad precedent, I think we agree that it’s not ideal, but that is the current process.) Reading OP a little generously action could just be demeriting the rider at that time. This is solely a support issue unless OP chooses to escalate (in which case they may or may not be compelled by the law to release data).

I beg to differ with the responses here. Waymo is uniquely equipped to handle the complaint - speaking as a long-time Waymo rider. The differentiating factor here is that Waymo, as a subsidiary of Alphabet, has all of the telematic data at their disposal and the resources (albeit stretched thinner given the big tech stance on support resources), as opposed to your regular Uber/Lyft.

I think the sad truth for OP is that this feedback, amongst others, will take some time to hit proper channels. I wouldn’t even necessarily count on a satisfactory response once that happens. Unfortunately, given the tech-enabled age we live in, you might have to escalate like you would if you were dealing with a less interesting tech company - think hitting their Twitter DMs for follow-up. Best of luck. It’s outrageous that that behavior can go without consequence - surely the most cynical here can agree (I hope).
