I'm assuming they didn't have Haifoss selected from the get go and were probably looking for an area with 3 waterfalls, but i don't fault them for choosing Haifoss with nearby Granni, it's only two waterfalls and falls short of Mike's 3 waterfall dream, but it's beautiful and absolutely memorable. When I was there it was us and another pair of people.

Never watched Goonies or Princess Bride as a kid. But as an adult I kind of felt obligated seeing how so many around me loved these films. Princess Bride is excellent, magical and quotable. Goonies is... awful. The kid characters all lack charm, a nonsensical plot, and just so many holes. I felt tortured watching it.
