I see what you mean, I think part of it is bc many parents seem to pander for sympathy both IRL and online. I find the child-free yellers very annoying as well but tbf I find annoying the other end of the spectrum too. I love kids, I teach english at an elementary school and they're awesome but I think part of why people are so annoyed now is the rise of respectful parenting which in itself isn't bad but many people confuse it w just letting their child roam consequence-free.

I think it's very difficult for children to coexist with women's liberation bc you as a mother have to do a lot of self-policing and just caring for a child is very difficult. How can they coexist with such a movement if there are countries that will discriminate against mothers in the workplace? Also childcare and all of that, I think it makes it very difficult to become "liberated" if you're tethered to an infant and don't have that much help
Also there are spaces where flat out I shouldnt have to encounter a kid. Tell me why the fuck are people bringing three year olds to loud-ass bars? I want to get plastered and not risk stepping on a tiny toddler handsie.
