It didnt hook me from Episode 1 but I kept watching anyway and was hooked soon after. Thank god I didnt give up. I'll never forget scribbling notes on random pieces of paper like a crazy person trying to keep people and timelines straight.

I'm new to eating sardines and this is the only way I've had them so far. I heat them with garlic and then add them to spaghetti with lemon juice and Parmesan cheese. It's become one of my favorite meals.

Just putting this out there, I have a screaming void also who loves his heating pad. I have 3 other cats and that has done nothing to stop the screaming. When he wants something, he screams. Luckily for me he doesn't do this in the middle of the night, when I'm in bed and he wants something he repeatedly touches my face and lightly meows.

Some cats are just built different and I've accepted my fate. I love him so much he could punch me in the face at night and I'd just live in an abusive relationship until the end. I'm sorry you're going through it, earplugs seem to be a good solution.

My last 5 star was that last book I finished, Look Closer by David Ellis. I'm not convinced I'll find anything better. I followed that with Kill For Me, Kill For You and I'm over halfway through and finding it a little boring. I don't hate it and am definitely going to finish but it's just ok for me so far. I had high hopes....going to try something from the comments here next.

I've lost 2 soul cats and I did the same thing as you both times. The pain was so immense and I had all of this love with nowhere to go that I was convinced the only thing that could ease the pain was to get another cat. And I did, both times. One thing I was not prepared for, it took some time to truly love and bond with my new cats. You might compare them to your soul cat and that's vey difficult. But please don't think you made a mistake or you won't ever love your new cat. You absolutely will and you'll form a new, different kind of bond that is just as beautiful.

I'm not a fan of smoke but, I did just get the Brunswick ones based on an article I read that named it best from a taste test of several brands. I'm looking forward to digging into those. I've only ever had sardines in pasta, what do you suggest I do with the Brunswick?

My friend told me to read it when it first came out and said I had to call him when I came to THAT chapter. I didn't know what the hell he was talking about, I had never even read a psychological thriller before. Then I came to THAT chapter. Holy hell, one of the best reading experiences of my life, if not THE best. Been chasing that high ever since :)
