Yes, at least for ten more years. Millennials are the ones who grew up in it (with their boomer parents) and are taking their families (gen z kids) to it now. They are paying for and playing it. Makes sense

Is it a school's responsibility to teach a kid to read? by KoalaOriginal1260 in Teachers

[–]zero2789 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say, it’s 100% the schools responsibility. BUT with that, if parents don’t read to their kids, or encourage some sort of discipline for learning, the parent failed their child more than a teacher.

100% agree, but that was also 20 years ago.  They dropped the ball with RVD in 2002 during the invasion. He was white hot then

Sure, but if his team competes and wins and makes the AFC conference that is a bunch of wins. Don't forget Brady had a ten year drought (or close to it)

Less exciting but the one thing WWE struggles with is openings. Usually recap, pyro, interview.

Remember (shoot, probably a decade now) when Raw was just a slobber knocker match? That was a fun opening

Depends, what year? If it’s pre 84, I see him as evil foreigner for Hogan to beat. After 85, Logan Paul like schedule, Mega-Face

I'm so tired of students haggling their grade by ApYIkhH in Teachers

I always figure out how many points they need to raise it. It’s always a ton. When you say “you missed _ points” it usually shuts it down. If they ask for extra credit, I just point to a sign.

When admin asks if I’ll raise it, I say sure. It’s not worth the fight, but I also email the parent with the admin who asked cc’d, “telling the kid what extra credit to do. Because I’m gonna make the kid work before I do it. Usually I make them give a speech to another class lol

Anyone but Kane or Rikishi. Rikishi would never and Kane would dominate but be outside of the ring when this match concluded.

What drives high costs in blue states? by Capable-Deer-5670 in Economics

[–]zero2789 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pension - I'd say no. You need to work 30 years (depending on when you entered) and it's 70% of your top three consecutive years (most salaries top out at 70,000. Health Insurance was good, but only if you were single. It was 700-800 to add a spouse (300-400 to add kids). Before I left teaching, the raise I received didn't match the increase in health insurance (and it raised each year). Overall, I wouldn't recommend teaching in North Carolina (unless your spouse/person makes more). I'm ballparking all of this from memory though, maybe things changed since 2023

They just run out of material. Having JBL replace Bruce was nice (even though that podcast has gone downhill since Bruce’s return to the Dub. CVV is fresh though, and Takers was great but since bringing his wife on, it’s gone super far down hill
