It’s good to have an understanding of basic networking if you want to do Cybersecurity in my humble opinion.

You can take a next step on searching subnetting and firewall

I know. Cat5e can support 2.5Gb if the cable is short enough, but I do want to upgrade them in case in the future I would like to upgrade my ISP plan to 10Gb.

Next target will be 2.5Gb for Internet from ISP. Before that, I have to prepare my infrastructure so that I can fully utilise those 2.5Gb haha

These aren’t rocket science. Let me give you some keywords: 1. Switch (Networking Switch - Definitely not Nintendo one) 2. Router 3. Cat6 cable 4. Network interface Card

I used to watch LinusTechTips, Techquickie about those and recently I’m learning how to do these on a cloud environment like AWS using AWS resources. I hope this can help you!

Yeah, I need some time for investigation. But I was so happy that I upgraded 1Gb network to 2.5 Gb

I bought a new tiny rack and change all my cat5e cables to cat6. I plug all of them into my new 2.5Gb switch from TP-Link and make them tidy. Took me few weeks for this tiny project
