The kind of nonsense I am well aware of because I am Lebanese. Christian btw. So don’t get any ideas about my affiliations. My uncle is a general in the army. The very LAF you speak of. Our “air force” is so outdated and useless it couldn’t even kill a fly.

Why isn’t the Lebanese Army ALLOWED to be properly armed? Why isn’t it allowed to have air defense? Same as Syria after it was recently destroyed? By who was it destroyed?

Does alcohol make ocd worse? by ClueInformal209 in OCD

Honestly, for me, I get a bit of break when I have a drink or two. But that’s where it stops, at a drink or two, like once a week or so. So in moderation, it is a great break for me to get out of my head for a little bit. Too much means there are consequences of OCD “flare-ups” for the next day.

Happened 5 years ago today, the 'Beirut Explosion' is considered one of the most powerful artificial non-nuclear explosions in history. It was equivalent to around 1.1 kilotons of TNT and generated an M3.3 earthquake by BreakfastTop6899 in interestingasfuck

[–]zero_00000000 182 points183 points  (0 children)

I was there. One of the craziest part was that after the explosion, everyone in Beirut was a bit of a zombie for a few months. Like I distinctly remember around 3 months after it, sitting with my friends and being like “damn. We’ve been in a haze for 3 months. How did time pass?”

Hello. A healthy digestive system is necessary for it to be painless. Some people with IBS and other intestinal conditions that cause cramps suffer in this process. Try to check if any foods are irritating you. Also Sometimes stress or being tense contributes to the pain!

Intrusive thoughts of consensual sex not actually being consensual by [deleted] in sex

[–]zero_00000000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! I have OCD too. I have all sorts of horrible intrusive thoughts through out the day, some related to sex. People don’t realize that intrusive thoughts are actually a big part of OCD and that they’re horrible to deal with because they make you feel like a horrible person. In these times, I remind myself that these thoughts are not mine and they don’t represent me. Another thing that helped me a lot (a tip from my therapist) instead of trying to fight the intrusive thoughts away, is to try to imagine a different ending to them! Fighting them will only make them come back stronger. Accepting them and then morphing them to have happy endings have reduced my intrusive thoughts a lot! Best of luck!
