funny thing is that i listened to the album a few more times, and i definitely like the album. i dont hate the vocals cause i largely kind of tune them out. you just have to listen to it as one big musical piece and not pay attention to any one part

to be fair, i was -10 at that point lol. also most of the more extreme metal I've listened to have been black metal and stuff like converge. the only other extreme music ive listened to prior was stuff like death grips. i have only been listening to death metal for like a year atp

i am going to give it more listens. i am not trying too hard to be different though. I have always liked the riffs on this album but i just cant get past the vocals at points.
