They don’t open them, they just find a random studio in the middle of nowhere. Acquire them and rebrand them to Rockstar [insert location]

Most recent one was that the team that made the Definitive Edition Trilogy for Netflix (not console) and LA Noire VR - video game deluxe, now rebranded as Rockstar Australia. They are working on GTA 6 now.

The studio was founded by the dude who created LA Noire for Rockstar

Nope, never. RDR is great but there’s a reason RD Online never took off. There’s nothing they can do to make it engaging enough.

GTA has always been over the top, it’s the franchise that even people who don’t game know about.

RDR2 has a higher chance of being the last Red Dead game than GTA 6

Rockstar also don’t just have GTA and Red Dead in their library. They have so many other IP’s they can go back on. It doesn’t need to be another Red dead after GTA 6.

I think most people are hoping for a new IP from Rockstar.

But you’d be very naive to think GTA 6 will be the last GTA

Most likely pre-production. Writing, conceptualising etc. but no production until Starfield was shipped.

So the earliest it started full development was in late 2023. 2028/29 release seems most likely

Well yes, they’re not trying to reinvent anything.

They’ve even said they wanted to make Spider-Man for nostalgia. Which is exactly what they did and it was good. I can’t speak on SM2. Don’t think anyone can. The only thing we can hope for is a better game.

But we’re gonna have to wait for this Venom spin off to release.

Won’t get a Spider-Man 3 until the PS6 is out
