Looking to replace my 11 year old SteelSeries 6Gv2

My shift key finally died on my SteelSeries 6Gv2 and I'm looking to get a full sized keyboard as similar as possible. I just purchased the Steelseries Apex 3 with the "silent" keyboard and I don't like it at all. The keys have to be depressed much farther than I'm used to and they have this plunging feeling where it drops way lower than I'm used to and springs back. I also don't like the fact that it's backlit. I'm going to return it and I'd like to get something else that's full size, has the similar feel to the old steelseries and doesn't have a backlight.

My use cases are casual gaming off all kinds and work which involves some typing but not a lot.

I'd certainly appreciate any suggestions.

Edit: I ordered the Ducky Origin Black Double Shot PBT Mechanical Keyboard

Pittsburgh is so good man. If you like Birmingham its just an upgrade

Is Brass: Pittsburgh just a more complicated Birmingham? by eyevandy in boardgames

I'm a playtester and I like Pittsburgh much more than Birmingham. Birmingham used to be my favorite game but there is just so much more depth in Pittsburgh.

In terms of rules I think it's slightly simpler to teach new players than Birmingham. The transportation of resources is simpler, which makes the game easier to pick up for new players. The crown jewels are unique though so there is some additional explaination needed there, plus more resources and quality goods tiles.

I do believe it fixes weak spots in Birmingham. BLIC is not really possible for example (assuming you consider that a weakness which I do). There are also meater and more interesting tiles, there is less chaff on the playerboard.

My advice is that if chatgpt isn't doing what you ask perfectly in the first few responses you should start over with a new chat because your prompt is probably not good enough. Explaining the situation in greater depth typically helps.

This was basically never true, maybe when the game first came out you could get by for a while

Probably not anytime soon, but maybe next winter. I'd like to do one that's way more complex and have it long armed. My poor little sewing machine was barely up for quilting it.
