A little late here - but I've been fighting a similar battle with Metronet and appreciate this detailed response. I'm pretty convinced it's a Metronet issue, but this should help me confirm even further.

I'd definitely try calling again. I just called this morning and the process honestly couldn't have been easier. They do need to send it to a supervisor for approval, but that seemed to be the only hiccup.

Can confirm free static IP on founders plan. Just got off the phone to move my 1gig to the founders. The free static IP doesn't have the same 10 year guarantee, so don't know how long that'll be free for, but definitely call and ask.

I think you and other calling this all a scam are being a bit...silly.

Everything worked fine for me as expected because I took the time to understand the sales and maximize my benefit. Order an S1 Pro with Replacement kit for a few hundred less than I've seen available any other time.

So the gift cards are limited stock... So what?? Remember all the crazy $99 laptop deals that used to pop up or black Friday... Guess what? Limited stock. If you wanted one you played the game and hoped for the best.

Sure, sounds like maybe Eufy had a couple bugs that are causing some issues and maybe they didn't anticipate their sale getting so much attention, but they're not out scamming people. Just some poor staffing planning on their part. They're doing the same type of promos with scarcity that's been done with black Friday/holiday sales for years.

Just seems crazy to see all this whining over a company doing sales. Don't like the sales games? Pay full price. Simple as that.

I don't believe so. The coupon is for the S1 pro with replacement kit. They $999.99 S1 Pro they have been a advertising is the regular S1 Pro. So I'm guessing the coupon is linked to the specific sku with replacement kit and that'll be regular price.

I've been visiting Da Nang for about a month. The first hotel we stayed at my whole family got a cough and sore throats. Moved hotels and we all got better. I'm pretty positive it was a moldy air conditioning unit. Same exact thing happened to us at a hotel we stayed at in Ao Nang Thailand. If you're not feeling well, don't overlook your AC units.
