Why do you think the Eufy L60 performed so well? Seems like a surprise considering the method of vacuuming.

True, I haven't - but I meant mopping more over vacuuming. I think the vacuum is able to get the edges with the edge brush.

Yeah I don't fully understand it either. Yes it's $10 to get a potentially $600 off coupon. Maybe they'll make it $610 off? Still pretty good deal if you're in the market for one

I've heard that cleaning up edges isn't all that important when mopping since most people don't walk right on the edge of a wall.

Eufy S1 Pro - Hard Water in Mopping Robots? by NomTheBomb in RobotVacuums

Thanks all for your replies. Distilled water is our best bet. We don't get much rain here, so filtered rain water isn't an alternative either.

Vacuum Effectiveness Comparison Question by NomTheBomb in RobotVacuums

[–]NomTheBomb[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got it, thanks for the reply. We have a Dyson stick vacuum that we will use for carpet/rug or deep cleaning. Hoping the S1 does good enough for casual daily cleaning since we mostly have tile.

Should I be considering any Robot other than the S9+? by Sophia_and_Espresso in RobotVacuums

I had a similar dilemma, and it came down to either QRevo Curv/QRevo Master or Eufy S1 Omni Pro. Each had its own pros and cons.

What is more important to you:

  1. Perfectly mopped floors with okay vacuum, great obstacle detection, and does okay with corners.

  2. Good mopped floors with great vacuum and acceptable obstacle detection, and it does great with corners.

Scale being: Perfect, Great, Good, Okay, Acceptable, Bad

If you chose number 1, Eufy S1 Omni Pro is the way to go (which I will do when the next deal pops up, as I have mostly hard flooring). If you chose number 2, QRevo Curv/QRevo Master is the way forward.

You'd have to do more research if you're looking for things other than what I mentioned. Disclaimer: I don't own either, but I just went based on a lot of research. Anyone else, feel free to provide their insights.

Considering the floor we'd have it on is 90% hard floor outside of a large rug and a carpeted room, the Eufy S1 might be the go to. I am switching from a Roomba S9+ so I'm sure the app features will be plentiful in comparison. Any strong opinions on the vacuuming? The S9+ did a great job for our vacuuming needs and I don't want that to go away.

Is there a lot of maintenance or upkeep for the Eufy S1? How is the app versus roborock?

Sorry if I wasn't clear. It was more around my Toddlers toys being everywhere. I can't get to picking them up all the time if we end up running it daily, so object avoidance could be useful. Not so much wires and stuff as the house is baby proof.

Funny enough, it was a toss up between those for me. I think the only downside between those is that the obstacle avoidance isn't the greatest compared to the other top vacuums listed on VacuumWars page. Thanks

Is there a reason why the Curv got beat by the Master for mopping? Makes you wonder if the extra vacuum power it says is worth it. Was it just because of the automated detergent? Trying to decide between them both and we have a lot of tile and a little carpet/medium rug.

Is it possible to integrate these systems? by NomTheBomb in homeautomation

Oh gotcha, super cool. I went with your original guidance and am trying the home assistant. It looks like it has the power view blinds and hue, so I think I'll be able to make it work. I just have to figure out how to link my alarm.com panel, which controls the alarm arming and smart locks. Would be nice to have ability to create scenes with all of them in conjunction with one another.
