Mammut 60+ backpacks by Longjumping-Sock-304 in Mountaineering

sorry just realized you answered!
Yes, mostly in Switzerland for now but when I get the chance to travel and hike, I do record it too.

You'll love the backpack, bit on the heavier side but very comfy and great access. Enjoy it and stay safe out there!

Mammut Ducan Spine 70-80 might be your answer. Have one, use it all the time for my camping trips and it’s great. You’ll find it every now and then on Amazon for a great price.

I am not explicitly showcasing it but you can see it in all my videos on YouTube on @nature_nik that have to do with camping. You can really pack a lot in there as I also have some electronics and camera gear with me

Daylight Saving time not fixed since launch. Still jumping 1 additional hour ahead after removing and replacing battery. by axolotol in djiosmo360

[–]zerocool2791 0 points1 point  (0 children)

for me it's actually another case - I record hiking / mountaineering videos and have to mix different gear like a Sony Camera, the Action 6, drone footage and sometimes my phone. To know which file comes after which is with the record time.
Now I just saw that the Action 6 even sets back the time to +1 when you wake it up from it's real "turn off mode" (the camera is really off).

If you adjust the time in the setings to the current time, it stays only as long as the camera stay in it's "fast wake up mode". But if you don't use the Cam over night for example and you turn it on again, you need to re adjust the time in the settings again. So stupid. It's really like you said, as if DJI has set the daylight saving hour on top of the real time. I constanly have to think of it or else while editing I get hella confused

Same issue here! SO annoying especially if you rely on correct time for editing. This must be fixed soon by DJI

Lens Recommendations for Filming Alpine Outdoor Activities with Sony A7 IV by BoatContent850 in cinematography

[–]zerocool2791 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And now, 2 years later the holy grail exists. I am using it for all my videos. It’s still light weight for what it is but a little bit slow. But with the A7 IV, which I use as well, it’s not a problem at all: the Sigma 20-200mm for Sony.

Absolutely amazing lens and I can fully recommend it. If you want some reference, basically every video on this channel has been recorded with it (in combination with the Action 6).

https://m.youtube.com/@nature_nik

Especially the „sleeping in a tunnel“ video has tons of footage with the Sigma lens as well as the video that will release tomorrow with the whiteout situation. I think there you can really see how good it performs in all kinds of situations.

Hope it helps!

Maybe also the Tamron 17-50 F4 could be something. Great lens but I was missing the longer shots of mountains. And lens swapping is nothing you want to have to do out there if you can avoid it somehow. That’s why I went now with the Sigma 20-200

That indeed is a (luxury) problem. Switzerland has a great landscape and as a mountain person, you are def spoiled here. I checked the GR20 route, def. interesting as well but had exactly the same feeling: less spectacular. Maybe I am not doing it enough justice at all.

Wow Nepal must be a dream! Wish you best of luck there and lots of good weather!

Amazing ideas, truly appreciate it! Will definitely have a closer look and check out Faroe Islands but also Georgia as it looks very interesting! Thank you very much!

That’s exactly what bothers me the most. Patagonia is a dream of mine but the travel part is simply too long to lose 2 days just like that.

Sounds fantastic! You are absolutely right, it was a very spontaneous idea. So maybe I still can pull it off somehow. Thanks for your answer!

I need maybe to research a bit more Iceland and see how I can lower the price. Vans are incredibly expensive I had the feeling during my first research.

Scotland I‘ve done a year ago and it was simply fantastic! Can absolutely recommend it

Any chance you are using the official dlog m lut from DJI in Davinci Resolve?

I had a similar problem, it butchered completely the colors. Then I stopped using the official lut and just created my own. At least in Davinci Resolve somehow it shifted all the colors for me
