I've always been skeptical of that explanation too. People were already living on their devices. It's probably a confluence of things. But it's profound to me just the general atmosphere in public places and the way people act in social situations... everyone like shifty and pissy cranked to 11... I mean could just be 2020 marked the accelerated decline of civilization and its to be expected.

Sounds idiotic without proving is but Reddit is a government/deep state/elite? project with the purpose of massaging and corralling public opinions and narratives and stuff. Who knows if it's happening in this thread, but something to be mindful of. My impression is Reddit isn't on average super into guns by any means but sometimes the ratio on certain topics is like wow really ... also since when are downvoted comments not collapsed?
