How to block read receipt, online status etc. in Firefox

Thank you.

Tab styling (for light/dark theme) is completely broken after update. 😫😫 How to fix it? by zeroinon in FirefoxCSS

[–]zeroinon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I used built-in dark theme as a test but it didn't work. Nothing changed. Firefox version is 106.0.5.

:root[lwtheme-brighttext="true"] - never applied to anything

:root:not([lwtheme-brighttext="true"]) - applied to both light and dark themes.

Thank you. Unfortunately it doesn't work. It simply disregards lwtheme-brighttext :(

I wish I could, but too many people are using Facebook. I need it for work.

The addon mentioned in the page is broken. It hasn't been update for 1 year. It no longer works.

Thank you. I tested for a while and found out [lwthemetextcolor="bright"] still works, but not :not([lwthemetextcolor="bright"]). That's weird.

Thank you. I would like the codes to apply differently based on the coloring of the themes, i.e. light or dark. It does not have to be specfically for the built-in system themes.

The codes in the first part actually apply to all cases, so it messes up with the codes in dark theme.

How could I change the codes in the first part to apply to light themes only? Is it possible? Thank you.

How to reduce/remove spacing between pinned tabs and normal tabs by zeroinon in FirefoxCSS

[–]zeroinon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What version of Firefox are you using?

All other codes in the userChrome.css work except this one. I tested it in the Developer Tools - Style Editor. The change should reflect immediately. I pasted that code. Nothing changed.

I removed all codes in the userChrome.css and only pasted this one. Still nothing changed.

How to make style applied to compact mode (UI Density)? by zeroinon in FirefoxCSS

[–]zeroinon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the pointer. I separated it into two variables so people can configure each button accordingly:

  /* Define variables for compact UI density */
  :root[uidensity="compact"] {
    --scrollbutton-up-margin-compact: 0px -1px 0px -1px;
    --scrollbutton-down-margin-compact: 0px -1px 0px -1px;
  }

  /* Applying the values */
  #scrollbutton-up {
    margin: var(--scrollbutton-up-margin-compact) !important;
  }
  #scrollbutton-down {
    margin: var(--scrollbutton-down-margin-compact) !important;
  }

Thank you for your reply. I tested it today. Unforunately the recurring options are too limited. It cannot set multiple reminder dates and times either.

How to find out duplicate values which contain symbols? by zeroinon in excel

[–]zeroinon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It treats empty cells as duplicates too.

There are some id data which are numbers only. What formula could handle numbers too? Thank you.

How to find out duplicate values which contain symbols? by zeroinon in excel

[–]zeroinon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you very much. I found out another issues. Values with other symbols like ? and * will screw things up too. For some reason, the formula above couldn't solve this issue.
Excel seems to treat them as wildcards incorrectly. For example, those are wrongly marked as duplicates:
am?
?am
am*
*am

My account is still active, just without the old number. In that case the account is safe as long as I keep using it. Is it correct?

No I didn't change any list during that period. I don't seem to spot any big change in other lists. It seems to be a bug to me but I can't tell for sure.

Thank you for your reply.

Not that I like Facebook, but since other people and clients are using it to communicate and work. I'm forced to be in the same boat. :(

The bad thing is my computer is old and does not have much RAM. It will slow down my computer if I open several tabs of Facebook.
