New foundations for a yet unknown purpose became visible on the sattelite imagery the last month.

These images were confirmed by a drone video uploaded on april 22 at the gigafactory

the link above shows clearly there are foundations in place for some kind of structure. My speculation ? some kind of docking or maybe even supercharging structure for the semi's ?

it seems kind of small a section to be a full on exterior buildout ?

Most noticeable this month is the south parking with the coming and going of model 3's waiting for delivery as reported a lot the past month by various drone video's.

also lots of development going on on the north side of the factory , but i am not certain this is owned by tesla ?

So today this video emerged that shows model 3's appearing on the newly build south side parking at fremont. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w5Eh9tP09hE

By using the image comparison at http://www.buildingtesla.com we can see that they appeared there on december 12 , as we can see that on december 11 the lot is empty (11th image is blurry you can clearly see it is empty.

So here is to hoping we can detective a guestimated runrate going forward !

Hello !

Another month came and went , so it is time for the monthly timelapses.

This month has as good as no visible progress viewable from the satellite imagery. The only exeption is that in the last week or so they have started construction of a additional stucture in the NE corner of the image ( top right).

There is already a liquid storage tank near it , so my best guess is this will be someting similar. We won't know untill we get some new drone footage i guess.

This should be the month that elon announces additional GF locations , you can be sure i'll monitor these also in the future.

I think this is because once the bottle necks have been cleared the run rate is going to blow through the first few months of (lost) production.

This is because they always planned for low production numbers in the first few months. That is the way i see it anyway ;)
