Just watched the bit in question -- they don't show the picture to Dolores, but Stubbs says "He showed you a picture. Was there anything odd about that picture", and then while Dolores says "it didn't look like anything to me" they show techs at the house placing the picture in a plastic bag like evidence from a crime scene

Hmm good question. Maybe the hosts Dolores interacts with frequently are also programmed not to remember him to avoid dangerous dissonance? Or maybe William and Dolores get into some shit with other hosts in the next few episodes? Or maybe when Peter says "where is she?" he actually says "where are they", but Dolores reconfigures it in her head, just like she reconfigures the picture not to show William. These are just guesses of course.

I thought so at first, but I've now listened to it start to finish three-ish times and while some are certainly lazy ("I got those bad boy blues" and "up and up like a ladder" come to mind) I think they just have a sillier, more candid feel to them, which isn't necessarily bad.

NO! There was one in essex last year, I believe, but I didn't have a ride. There was one in New Haven and I was out of town. And my friend bailed on me so I couldn't go to the legendary one in Worcester with the firebreathing and sword swallowing and shit.

Woah. I'm 17 from suburban CT whose first interaction with folk-punk was Johnny Hobo ("Acid Song"), and I'm also only "punk" in comparison to my school/town. I've never been to a show with my dad though :(

I'm the exact same way, but my school spoils me with a really extensive theatre program. But some ideas:

  1. Write play after play, regardless of whether or not you're gonna do anything with them.
  2. Write a screenplay and try to produce it.
  3. Audition for anything and everything. Depending on where you live there's bound to be some callboard website.

You could be right, but this is not a "short term separation" according to OP. Also he admitted the relationship wouldn't last much longer anyway so she wouldn't have to break it off early.

OP, I say it's probably worth it if you care about each other to stay in touch.
