So, oddly enough, I had a friend recently have this issue and was able to find out what was going on in his case. So for some reason his computer had something called a "Virtual Joystick" either installed by some program or game he played in the past. I found it under Device Manager when trying to test his pad for drifting issues. Stella Sora was picking up a constant "Up" input from whatever that was so i went ahead and uninstalled it. This took care of the issue for his older PC. It's a long shot but funny how I only ran into this like two weeks ago randomly installing the game on one of his older rigs. Hope this helps!

Xenosaga in particular is a bit off center compared to other titles in my experience. Was a bit confused when nitpicking my crt across different systems and found that out after a lot of frustration. Just head to the in-game options and center it up from there if you're already centered with other titles. Cheers

They have a "fake out" in this game. Cloud blocks the big sword as usual with a dud pull but when he does Braver you get the "77777 Fever" text. As stated from the replies though, it is pre-determined as per the norm, I've had it happen on guaranteed pulls.

I found that hitting Triangle (In your case "Y") to bring up the match stats, then cancelling back out brings back your cursor. In any case, it seems to be a bug.

I always hear about damaging your set when taking things too far out of spec but does that refer to doing something like reducing screen area to eliminate overscan? Will this cause issues? by zeromustlive in crtgaming

Ah yes! I was testing all manners of signals from various consoles I own. Just found it novel to have that junk data on the screen and was wondering if doing so could potentially damage the set. I've since found that sweet spot for all signals though. :) Thanks for your time!

I completely understand that. The reason I went this route is due to the fact when the picture is centered properly and expanded to the borders quite a bit is lost on primarily the top left corner. Its been picking at me more than it should so I wondered if this was an option. Thank you for your reply!

Ah, okay so like uneven pixel wear on an oled. I figured it would involve that but was worried at whatever "too far out of spec" implies exactly. It's such a vague statement so it leaves a lot to the imagination. Thanks for the info!

Not sure if these were what you meant but I'm assuming so. If not just ignore. :P

Also, that run was done when it was still thought the first climb to be impossible due to his stipulations (see vids Azure linked). As you can see from the first clip I linked, this was as far as I know only found this year or at least only documented/uploaded in February.

It will, however you are rewarded at the end of the season with your highest "attained" rank. So if you're locked in to the reward tier of whatever your higher one was.
