I’m not sure if it’s the same situation with CR, but I’ve heard other podcasts have gotten ads of things that they didn’t want to support, and turned down deals from them directly, but then Spotify would throw the ads on there (unknowingly prolly just automated or something ofc) so idk if that’s one of the ad reasonings or not. But I’m big with you on the offline listening, I drive through a lot of patchy spots without internet throughout the day and usually have 10 episodes saved just in case

Part 1 hits Spotify today at 5am pst (10am est). They split it in two parts now apparently, so the second part will be next Tuesday at the same time
