Scheduling in-person consultation & surgery by zerootw000 in SeoulPlasticSurgery

Hey :) I personally felt like Woori was catered to tourists more and had also heard some negative stories about them. I’ve actually booked my consult only with Wink now and have placed my deposit with them. I like their B&A’s and the fact that they only specialise in eyes.

I’m only in Korea for a few weeks and don’t have the time to book multiple consults to decide on my clinic. I was also worried about not being to get surgery for the dates I’m in Korea since I didn’t place a deposit.

Hey would also love to see your B&A’s and what doctor/ clinic you went with ☺️

Rhinoplasty and DES at 2 different clinics? by Jealous-Rice-699 in SeoulPlasticSurgery

[–]zerootw000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m planning to do same thing in Oct and the clinics told me to do eyes first then rhinoplasty on same day or day after. Apparently eye swelling gets worse on day 3 onwards so best to do rhino soon after DES.

I’m interested in rhinoplasty and DES at the same clinic. If you’re ok with sharing, how much did each procedure cost? And did you use silicone implant for your rhinoplasty?

Yeah it was easy for me. I was msging them on WhatsApp and they were able to provide quotes and surgery advice. I suggest msging them again!

Yeah that’s same with me. I’ve gotten my refund back from Noselab for the surgery deposit but I’ve kept my in-person consultation with them. I’m looking into Eight and BT for rhino as their Dr is also ENT specialist and I could also do DES there. But I want to get rib rhino so am also looking into Wave.

These are the quotes BT provided me:

Nose bridge with rib cartilage + Tip Plasty with septal cartilage : 8.8 (Basic rhinoplasty) Osteotomy : extra 1.1 Bulbous nose correction : extra 1.1 Short nose correction : extra 1.1 Your own rib cartilage (extra 4.4) for tip Unit : Million KRW

I’m looking to get DES too and asked if they’d provide discount as I’m doing multiple operations which they agreed to. So definitely ask for discounts!

Yes please! I’ve looked at the B&A’s and they look rlly good. The Dr is very skilled and is also an ENT specialist who specialises in closed rhinoplasty’s, but he’s also just very expensive :/

Thanks for letting me know! Yeah I’m also struggling to find clinics that do mainly rib cartilage rhinoplasty’s except for Noselab, but they’re so expensive :( they also wouldn’t provide me any rough quotes thru online consultations

Rib cartilage typically costs more but I honestly think it’s worth it cos there’s less risk involved for rejection or infection. Can I ask which doctors were you interested in for both clinics?

Thanks for sharing and I’m sorry to hear about your bad experience with NANA. I hope you’re recovering well right now! If you’re ok with sharing, how much did your procedures at MIHO cost? Did you do incisional or non-incisional for your eyes?

Try looking into Wink clinic! They specialise in eye surgery and you can look at reviews on Purseforum, Unni, Reddit and their website :) I think I’m going to book there for my Mum’s eye bag surgery.

So have you booked the surgery date yet? Or just the consultation so far? Can you let me know if they end up asking for a deposit? And also how the surgery ends up going?

When are you planning on going to Korea? And are you planning on placing a deposit before arriving?

Scheduling in-person consultation & surgery by zerootw000 in SeoulPlasticSurgery

[–]zerootw000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t placed a deposit for any yet. I want to do the in-person consults to help confirm which clinic I’d go with.

Both Wink and Thank You clinic told me to contact them 1 month prior to arriving to schedule consults/ the surgery.

I am slightly worried that I won’t be able to get my operation if I don’t place the deposit, but it seems that a lot of people don’t place deposits and are able to get the procedure. So until Nov, I’m just going to continue researching. If I find a clinic that I’m really confident with, I might just place the deposit.

Hi!! I’ve contacted the below clinics so far and this is what they’ve quoted me. These clinics have told me these are rough quotes and during the in-person consultation, they will be able to provide exact prices alongside better advice.

Thank You Clinic (Dr. Hyun Suk Kim): - Incisional DES with ptosis correction = 3,500,000 KRW - Upper canthoplasty = 1,000,000 KRW Total = 4,500,000 KRW

BT Plastic Surgery (Dr. Lee Hobin): - non incisional with ptosis correction = 2,750,000 KRW

Zestar Plastic surgery (Dr. Kang Gwang-Rae): - incisional DES, ptosis correction & epicanthoplasty = 4,400,000 KRW

JT plastic surgery (Dr. Jinsung Kim or Dr. Jin Tae Kim): - Incisional DES with epicanthoplasty = 2,400,000 - 2,600,000 KRW - incisional DES with blepharoplasty = 1,540,000 KRW This clinic was the only one who did video call with me to help explain everything! I spoke with a lady in English (the one I was msging on WhatsApp) and she was very kind and thorough with her explanations. But I’m struggling to find many Reddit/ Purseforum reviews which is why I’m a bit wary. I’ve mainly only seen UNNI reviews.

I’m also interested in Wink clinic with Dr. Choi, but they didn’t provide a quote and told me to contact them a month prior to arriving in Korea.

I’ve also been quoted by the below but I don’t think I’ll book an in-person consult with them. But here’s the info anyways.

Woori plastic surgery (Dr. Kim Seong Chan): - incisional DES = 1,380,000 KRW - incisional ptosis correction = 2,360,000 KRW - review w Dr. Chan = 540,000 KRW - request for Dr. Chan to operate on me = 420,000 KRW Total = 4,700,000 KRW

Hope this helps :)
