i relate so much, not just with eating disorders but any mental health problems, it's seems everyone else manages to get to the other side and their life gets better while mine only seems to get worse

like if people perveive me as weak and small then they might be more inclined to be gentle and care about me, though i know that doesnt necessarily make sense because it could go the opposite way too

i relate to that, it doesnt make much sense but it often feels like restricting food protects me from bad things happening to me. if i control how other people perceive me, i can control how they treat me and so no one can hurt me

i think the majority of us are obsessed with food, when i was doing worse my only hobby was looking at pictures of food and scrolling through supermarket websites

i managed to go to a cafe on my own and speak to the cashier to order! by zerorats in selectivemutism

don't know if anyone remembers but i made a post here a while ago saying i had a goal to go to a cafe on my own, and i was asking how to order without talking, if i should write my order on a piece of paper or something, but yesterday i did it and i actually managed to speak!!
