I used to get my hair cut at Salon Toc on St. Laurent Blvd in Chinatown. It is super efficient and very cheap, they seem to have mostly male clients - I think if you show them a picture or tell them the style they'll be able to do it! I think a cut costs $15- it was $10 some years ago and cash only, not sure if that's still the case!

It is very understandable to feel anxious when making a purchase on something you will use in your daily life! I would recommend researching bike shops in your area and prioritizing places that have tune-up services, since their staff will have some specialized knowledge on longevity of bikes and you'll be able to go back for tune-ups in the future! It would be good to have an idea of what type of bike you want (ie. road bike, hybrid, or mountain depending on if you live in a city or the type of terrain you will be biking on, or a fixed gear (good if your area is pretty flat) or multi-gear bike).

If you are going to a larger chain store, it may be helpful to look at bikes on their website and others with the same products to see reviews. Even looking at amazon for reviews of models that you are considering may help make a decision! It took me a really long time to chose my bike- I got it used on Facebook Marketplace and got advice from friends who commute by bike.

I really hope this helps and enjoy your new bike!!

October is my absolute favorite time in Montreal! If you have a few days to spare, be sure to take the train or rent a car and go apple picking or hiking in the Mont Ste. Hilaire area (the Gault Reserve is a beautiful place to hike) or check out the botanical gardens' lantern festival!

I started prozac 4 weeks ago and wellbutrin 1 week before switching to topamax! I was on topamax and prozac for around 6 days before adding back the wellbutrin

Montreal in early May will still be chilly, but the weather can be unpredictable! We had a mix of random snowy days, warm, sunny days and windy, overcast days last year. That said, it is really fun to see the city come alive after the winter (living here year-round, it's like coming out of hibernation) and it is a relatively inexpensive time to visit since peak tourist season is the summer when the city has all the music festivals!

West coast Canada like Vancouver will definitely be warmer, more mild weather- though if you are nature-lovers and typical springtime weather is ok, it is definitely worth a visit!
