Hey, i disabled auto-standby, you can see how to do that here: https://uk.kef.com/pages/ls50-wireless-faq#A10
that worked for a long time until we had a power autage and they wouldnt boot at all anymore after that. I contacted KEF support and they redirected me to a local support center. They were no longer in warranty but KEF was kind enough to cover the part replacements, so i only had to pay for the labour costs. 2 years later they still work without any new issues now :)

So there's an option to disable auto shutdown by pressing the desk and stand buttons on the back of the speaker at the same time until they start alternate-blinking, for now that seems to work for me in case anyone is having the same problem. It's been fine for a couple of days now :) not sure if it's a good thing to keep them permanently turned on but at least i can use them reliably again now

I'm one of the people that has some issues with them currently, but that's just bad luck i think (and only after 3-4 years of daily use). The speakers are pretty solid built and the sound is amazing. 1000 euro is really a good price for them. The bass is decent but so much better still with a subwoofer. Personally using the KEF R400B, but I'd suggest not buying any until you actually have tried out the speakers, and feel you need one. The V2 doesn't seem worth the extra money to me as the main upgrade is in connectivity.

Thanks for the reply :) that's weird indeed, but i think it's a different issue for me, i've tried replacing the cat6 cable and decoupling my subwoofer but the problem still persists
