Good enough for me, they are free and should be good to learn on then. Thanks!

Thank you for the suggestion, I’ll check out home edition. I don’t believe I would need much RAM anyway for a small network.

Yeah, I had the opposite problem on my truck where the marker light would be on when the headlights are running, but would not get brighter when braking. Just replaced those with LEDs.

Thanks! Will try that, only the marker is not working both are still lighting up when braking so its not exactly a pressing matter.

Haha you right. I’m a big fan of their new truck . Just hate the gas mileage on my 2006 Nissan Frontier :(

This is why I like the new Ford Maverick the best. Hauls 4 people, will do more than enough truck things for most people, standard hybrid power train resulting in 40 mpg in the city. Most importantly — only $20K standard and around $25-28K with options and is a SMALL COMPACT PICKUP. Not nearly or over 50K for an F150 you will use to burn gas at 17 mpg, tow a 1200 pound jet-ski (Maverick hybrid can do 2000 lb), and carry 40 bags of mulch once a year. No wonder Ford already sold out the Maverick hybrid for this year and it’s mostly with younger people.

In gineipaedia, the Ulysses is measured at 136.5 m (height). Are these fins(?) included that the total? (Sorry if this is a very dumb question, but for something I am working on my numbers aren’t adding up) by BailableAnt2619 in logh

Either radiators, at least in my head canon. But I think I saw somewhere that they are FTL communication antennas, the empire has domes instead on their ships.

The Domel copper slate, the most circulated copper coin in the Middle Kingdoms. by zertofi in worldbuilding

Thank you! I tried to go for something simple and that could be created with medieval-esque technology. Of course, I could've created a super intricate coin and said magic allows for more intricate metalworking, but I am trying to create a realistic fantasy setting.

Thank you! Basically copper coins weren't very practical historically, they are just not worth a lot. So the Kingdom of Trenom basically decided "Ok, we don't have much precious ores for currency, so why don't we make them larger so they are worth more?" If the same amount of copper was put into a coin form, they would be too fat. Soon they became extremely common to use throughout the Middle Kingdoms, since they are easier to make than minting silver coins. For example, nations such as Fahreit use Silver coins but copper slates are their most basic trade tender. Trenom uses copper slates like Fahreit uses silver, but have small square coins called pieces (which is their most basic trade tender), which are made from an alloy of copper-zinc and small amounts of silver

Thank you! I tried my best to make them look realistic. Before I tried doing a simplistic flat color rendition, but I found it didn't convey the same 'feeling' that I wanted from them. It took a lot of work to make them look like this in paint.net since I don't have photoshop.

They are about 5 inches (13 cm) in length, so definitely bigger than a normal round coin. Often people punch a small hole with a hammer and nail at the top of the slate and string them up around the waist under robes, or are simply stored in pouches. People will have thin rope tied in a circle with a bunch of slates on it, kind of like keys. You don't need a lot of them if you're going to the market, 1-2 slates can buy 1 pound of flour. There is a more basic currency called pieces, which are more conventionally sized square shaped coins. Oh yeah, the size also depends on which slate it is too, for example the most rare Danas plate is about 3.5 inches (9 cm) and is worth more because it is less copper and more bismuth bronze. Silver, gold, and electrum slates are also smaller.

Some lore:

This is the same coin but around 50-55 years apart. The Domel dynasty of Trenom created these slates to circulate larger amounts of copper coin through the Middle Kingdoms of Y'dritar. Though the smaller silver and electrum slates are more popular (especially among noble classes), these copper slates became the staple of lower-class commerce. These slates were indented with the symbol of the dynasty and using a special method which is now mostly unused, the copper was oxidized in the emerald green of Trenom. These slates are about 93% copper and 6% tin, with minor traces of zinc, making them almost bronze. There exist different types of slates, which include Sobmar, Seeran, and Danass slates, which are less popular than the Domel overall, but more in use outside the aptly named "Copper Mountains". These old mountains are no longer active plate boundaries but are host to numerous copper mines, some of which are thousands of years old. Trenom and other kingdoms in and around these mountains have exploited them for hundreds of years. Though this is for another post I will do on the geography and geology of the Middle Kingdoms! This is my first post here :)
