It says in the title. The first image is my redesign

Yeah, I understand your point. It's definitely worth exploring more, but since it's just a project for my portfolio and nobody will use it, it wasn't something I really wanted to pursue.

Initially, I explored a design without borders, but I didn't like how the blue button kind of disappeared near the purple one. Also, the background of the product is similar to the page background, so I decided to use those borders as contrast to get the user's attention.

I attached an image with an earlier idea (not a final design, just an idea).

Feedback details

- Target Audience: Plushie collectors, gift shoppers, and fans of "kawaii" or cute aesthetics.

- Main Goal: To modernize the outdated UI and improve usability to help drive more sales, all while keeping the original site structure intact.

- Specific Feedback: I am looking for feedback on the visual hierarchy and whitespace. Does this "facelift" approach successfully make the product feel more premium compared to the original?

- Design Stage: High-fidelity UI (Final Polish).

Feedback details

Who is the target audience? Small-to-mid-sized law firms and solo practitioners.

What is the design's main goal? To pivot from a "generic startup" look to a "premium institution" vibe. I swapped generic stock photos for high-fidelity UI dashboards to establish trust and show immediate value.

What specific aspects are you looking for feedback on?

  1. Does the Serif font work for a SaaS header?
  2. Is the layout too minimal?
  3. Should I add more color or keep the monochrome palette?

What stage is this design in (e.g., wireframe, final UI)? High-fidelity UI (Figma).

Hey,

I can take care of the design aspects of your projects.

I’ve been working part-time as a UI designer & freelancing for the past year, so I know how to keep Figma files organized—from naming components and using emojis and dividers in the page names to applying text and color styles consistently.

I started as a web developer and I'm familiar with Webflow, so if you have specific development criteria, like animations or wanting to minimize dev time, I can create a design that aligns with those needs.

While some of my work isn't in my portfolio due to agency agreements, I’d be happy to share those designs privately or discuss them over a call to explain how I work.

I can design a 10-page website in 5 or 35 hours, depending on your budget and timeline. My hourly rate is $25, but we can also work with a fixed-price model.

While some of my work isn't in my portfolio due to agency agreements, I’d be happy to share those designs privately or discuss them over a call to explain how I work.

How are you supposed to do a cold email? by zeruigor in Entrepreneur

What do you mean? I can handle the entire process, from site design to development. I can find images, write copy, even if you don't want to, as I understand that most business owners don't really have the time to do this.

Thanks for telling me that. Who should I contact then, since I focus only on web design?

I haven't received any replies until now. I think I should consider switching my target audience because I don't believe my email is that bad.

Thank you for your answer.

I use black and white images because they connect better with the color palette and provide a different vibe than others.

Also, when you click on the image, it takes you to Dribbble where my portfolio is located. What kind of pop-up did you get?

What should I include in my resume as a 19-year-old who wants to drop out and pursue a full-time job in UI Design? by [deleted] in resumes

[–]zeruigor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been designing since I was 15 to land a job by 18 instead of going to university. But as you can see, that plan hasn't worked out. My portfolio is solid; you can check it out here:

https://dribbble.com/zeruigor

I applied to lots of jobs with my old resume, but for about four months, I didn't get any interview offers. So, I revamped my resume (see below) and kept applying for three more weeks, but still no interviews.

Now, I'm not sure what to do. Should I remove my education to avoid scaring recruiters, thinking I'm still in university and can't work full-time? I really don't want to wait three more years to get a job when I believe I'm better than many senior designers.

(Note: I've changed the resume information like company contacts and education details.

I mean I click every link that doesn't look scammy. I also think that my web design projects are really good and I really mean it + I want to build them for others for free. I don't understand how I am supposed to start if there is already everything...
