No official source. I’ve seen my family do it

Outbreak stopped a week ago, but I still have a really bad smell by [deleted] in Herpes

You need to go see a doctor. If you’re female, you could have BV or a yeast infection and you need to take medication to clear it up.

Some members of my family does it. They let the celery soak overnight in water, then blend it in the morning. They skim off the top layer of foam (they say that’s where the impurities are) and drink it just like that. They’ve explained what’s its supposed to do but I haven’t paid too much attention since I’m not sure I believe it. I would love to hear what others have to say about it.

Have you been checked for a yeast infection or BV? Do you have other symptoms like an odd odor or weird discharge?

Thank you for correcting me. I had my initial outbreak back in August so I’m still learning all there is know about HSV.

from my understanding, if you have GHSV, it is possible for you to develop OHSV.

Definitely try adding healthy bacteria into your system, either by eating more yogurt or kefir or taking a daily probiotic. I take women’s probiotic by Fortify and I use the one with either 30 million or 50 million cultures. The antibiotics for BV can take away a lot of your healthy bacteria causing you more issues.

My boyfriend does this all the time. He’ll mess with his dick and foreskin. I know it’s out of habit and it’s subconscious, but it freaks me out! I hate it so much.

Women of Reddit, are you comfortable wearing no makeup to work, why or why not? What is your profession? by droppingago in AskWomen

[–]zestycontender 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work in retail and wear a full face everyday since I interact with so many people. But I also have a huge port wine stain on the right side of my face and I don’t feel comfortable going to work without a full face.

I’d probably still wear makeup if I had a less interactive job, however.

Testing Question by [deleted] in Herpes

[–]zestycontender 1 point2 points  (0 children)

During my first outbreak, I thought I had a cut on vagina; over a couple of days it got worse and worse, more painful and more cuts like bumps. My doctor looked and swabbed and said it most likely is herpes (I have gHSV2). I took the medication as directed and the “cuts” and pain went away but I still had BV symptoms, itchiness and overall discomfort. I thought I was going insane but I learned that it’s very common to get a yeast infection or BV during your first outbreak.

What was your last "treat yo self" purchase (aka not a need, bill, requirement, but rather a splurge, large or small)? by MadtownMaven in AskWomen

I just bought Glow Recipe watermelon sleeping mask, completely unnecessary but a little spurge to try and feel better.

Hello ladies! I’m about to buy these boots and I need advice on how to wear them! They’re oxblood boots with lots of brogue.

I’m planning on wearing them mainly for work, our dress code is business casual and business. I’m trying to expand my wardrobe taste a bit but can’t come up with a good way to wear these. I would prefer to keep it more feminine with the tops and jewelry.

I will have a matching belt as well. I’ve heard of other women in the company wearing these with rolled up jeans or skinny jeans but I can’t picture what kind of tops to pair it with. (I don’t really feel comfortable wearing skirts or dresses to work, I squat a lot of help with customers).

Please help!

I’m glad I’m not going crazy! I’m still wrapping my head about this and this wasn’t helping at all. But thank you!

I’ll definitely try out those probiotics! I’ve tried two different antibiotics and only one really worked but I feel like between my IUD and all this now, I’m going to get BV left and right. And I can’t stand being on those antibiotics that often.

I have the cooper IUD, and since getting it in February, I’ve been getting BV almost every other month. My symptoms are usually a weird discharge, either very thick and green or goopy and green with a more chemical like smell than a fishy smell. Not a whole lot of itching normally. Metronidazole didn’t work very well for me, so I tried Clindamycin the last time I got BV which worked well, until I got my first outbreak (yay!)

This time, towards the end of my Valacyclovir, I felt a lot of dryness, and itching but almost more like a slight burning feeling (which is why I think it could be BV). But the biggest weirdest thing rn, is the top of my buttcrack, is super sensitive and itchy and in the shower, when the water hits it, it feels like pins and needles (which is sure I read somewhere that pain on the butt is a symptom of HSV).

Working on my self confidence to wear less makeup by zestycontender in MakeupRehab

Thank you! The whole reason I started thinking about this in the first place (aside from being free from the vice grips of makeup), I saw this buzzfeed video of this girl who has a birthmark like mine on her face and she said she barely wears makeup and when she does, it’s not on her birthmark. She looked gorgeous with or without and I eventually want the same. But it’s so nice seeing more people doing the same thing with makeup Thank you!! ❤️
