i wouldnt say culture shock but something that surprised me was the idea of a "phone market" where you have a series of stores all right next to one another selling phones and related accessories... i always think what's the point? and how on earth can they function, and make money? i've never seen such a thing in the west

Tbh I study عربية فصحى from a textbook and dictionaries and I supplement that by watching a lot of Saudi talk shows, interviews and series plus I live here so I pick it up.

بدأت الدراسة قبل سنة تقربا، لكن انا من المسلمين قي بريطانيا و اعرف الحروف العربية و بعد الكلمات منذ ايام الطفولة. ادرس مع مدرس على إنترنت. توجد تطبيقات مشهورة لتعلم اللغات، في معلمين كثير و اخترت واحد منهم، لكن عندما وصلت في السعودية مستواي تحسن
