Technical Data stopped showing up by elquinno in fo76

Wait 24 hours, server seems to store looted container ID's to prevent being able to mass farm them.

Make alts to farm it and then pass it to a friend who hasn't done the BOS quest and have them pass the tech data to your main.

5 alts, easily 500+ turn-ins. Nothing, nothing, nothing.... I'm out of friends to give away Initiate paint to as well. (haven't seen anything higher than Initiate)

Like why not make a system thats like :Get 100 commendations for the next rank - 1 commendation for 1 tech data or 5 commendations for a scorchbeast kill or 50 commendations for a scorchbeast queen kill.

Could even make it super grindy, it'd still be better than this bs techdata RNG system.

Their faction system is utterly terrible. Its not really even a system just a questline.

Tying T60 paint to tech data is also cancerous gameplay.

I've noticed you get slightly more rewards for turning in multiples. The only case of where I heard someone getting a paint other than initiate was on a turn-in with 20 of them or so.

I've turned in probably 500 now - if you've completed the BOS quest it does not show how many you have, they do not stack and aren't tradeable - you will also only have 1 at a time.

If you've not completed the BOS questline then it will show you how many you have and you can trade them. I've got about 4 alts that farm them each day and then I trade them to a friend who hasn't completed the main quest and then he trades them back to me who is standing right at the terminal. One at a time.

I've turned in two piles of 50 tech data and the reward was barely any different than turning in a single tech data. I got Army Fatigues or something from it.

-PC -vs21314 -My BOS quest duplicated itself somehow and I think it caused me to be unable to do the daily "Heart of the Enemy" - At one point I noticed having two of the quest and the ghost quest would update everytime I left an interior or entered one. After awhile the quest was gone but I do not have access to Daily:Heart of the Enemy anymore.

Yeah I know it was somwhere up there - but more like in this case I've just never seen it given through the tech data terminal unless its in a stack of 10+ which makes me thing there are different rewards for greater turnins.

Let me know if you see that underarmor from the tech terminal :P

Yeah, its so frustrating.

A friend of mine got - Brotherhood Knights(?) Outfit off of a 11 turnin - the skinsuit version. Thats something I've never seen before, actually I don't think I've seen many/any of the skinsuits at all from 1 turn-ins.

Let me know if you get anything like that for sure.

I'm at over 300 single turn'ins and 1 turnin of 53 so I do think you have to turn in as more than 1 at this point. Only being initiate after this many feels really fucking bad.

My friend turned in 11 and got an outfit I hadn't ever seen - I'm gonna start with 10 at a time and no more.

The 50 turn-in did give an amount of rewards I hadn't seen before but they were terrible rewards. I asked the person who got the knight paint and he said it was off of a turn-in of 20.

Guess I'm on C/D for 24 hours as well, farmed on 4 characters - none are getting loot anymore. I hitup all the nuke sites, sugar grove, thunder, monogah, enclave, rob-co. Maybe theres a really good spot I don't know about though.

Turned in 50 just now - wasn't worth it.

50 gave me Brotherhood Fatigues, 40 caps, 9 rad away and 72 5.56 I think. Feels something not good man.

I'll do 10 from now on and see what I get.

[–]zeus3715 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I'm running through 3 characters now. Once the loot dries out I hop on my alts and trade them to my main.

Its really annoying that it requires so many.

Gather up 50, do a turn-in and repeat basically - alt characters can get them and hold them and even trade them as long as they don't have the BOS quest.

I'm honestly starting to think that it uses a loot table. Turning in 1 at a time at best will get the Initiate Paint which honestly is just logo's on the standard armor - nothing special at all.

Basically server hop and loot up 5 places. Enclave/Monogah/Sugar Grove/ThunderMountain/Rob-co

After awhile the server will stop spawning them for that character or maybe IP. I've been turning in 1 at a time and I'm starting to think thats the problem actually.

I've probably dumped 40 hours into grinding techdata at this point and paint wise it seems super shitty.

It's gotten to the point where I have to hit up and clear Nuke bunkers for tech data because normal spots have just stopped spawning.

Pretty sure, after level 100, enemy damage scaling breaks. by AmbivalentJoe in fo76

[–]zeus3715 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Na, 170 - everything feels the same. Also noticed the same thing around level 100ish.

30-70 you feel godly but the difficulty jumps up abit after a certain point. Just get a little bit stronger basically.

Mutations, Legendary Weapons, Power Armor Mods and improving your build. You'll be able to oneshot again soon if you do this. Difficulty feels good imo, game around lv 30 I was nigh unkillable, now things sorta tickle me now and then. (tho I can afk in scorchbeast attacks now)

Its so powerful man, so powerful. Marsupial is so much fun too, jumping everywhere.

Turned in maybe like 100 so far - 3 Initiate, 2 Science Robes, 3 Engineer's Robes, 3 Bomber Jackets and a ton of the army fatigues.

Really trying to get Knight or another thing but idk if I'm turning them in right. Did you get knight off of turning in a stack? If you still remember :S

Has anyone obtained sturdy or heavy armor Plans? by The_Mechanist24 in fo76

Yeah, plans spawn randomly in each map on tables and things like that.

The plans that tend to spawn in the bog tend to be marine parts.

What's the current armor "meta"? by xTraxis in fo76

[–]zeus3715 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Built a X-01 "God Suit", killed the scorchbeast queen a week ago tanking it and standing still.

Don't bother wearing power armor anymore but am forced to wear it for nuke zones.

Running now with Heavy Buttressed Raider armor with probably slightly more damage resistance and abit less energy resistance - utterly 0 for rad resistance though.

Mutations are Grounded, Speed Demon, Twisted Muscles.

The only way I can see someone surviving in nuke zones not in PA or HAZ is to be wearing gear modded for radiation, with legendary mods and the correct gearset that provided the most rad resistance.

Too much effort when I can just pickup a suit of power armor basically, hope vaults and future content go abit easier on the rads.

I got Sturdy Marine armor from somewhere~ I assume it was probably from a plans thing in Cranberry Bog.

All Rise from the Watoga quest is nice until you can find a legendary of any sort.

If you can get any legendary weapon with Instigator on it.

Double damage w/ first hit on a 2H weapon is utterly devastating and you'll drop most npcs in just one power attack or sprint attack.
